Incorporated in 2026, Zecca Preparatory School has a vision to open a private, all-girls' high school in downtown Philadelphia. Our team is comprised of a board of trustees with decades of experience in finance, education, communications and entrepreneurship. We lean on our advisory committee, education leaders, community members, current families of girls' schools and alumnae of all ages to help guide us in this evolving journey.
In this beginning phase, our board of trustees and advisory committee members are actively using decades of experience to create a sustainable business model through research and funding that will innovate the future of girls' education in Philadelphia. We are focused on building an academically rigorous curriculum, including leadership, entrepreneurship and a strong arts program, backed by a solid strategic plan to move from vision to reality.Â
We believe that Her Dreams Deserve Action. In blending a traditional prep school environment with tomorrow's innovations, each young woman will graduate ready for her next chapter. Our work is focused on filling a need: a private, nonsectarian school for young women to experience an all-girls' environment downtown, with the rich cultural landscape of the city as part of their education.
